Zoom F2 Ultracompact Portable Field Recorder with Lavalier Microphone - Black

Discreet recording. Detailed sound.

The Zoom F2 Ultracompact Portable Field Recorder pairs pocket-sized convenience with 32-bit float recording and an included LMF-2 lavalier microphone. Clip the mic to your subject, secure the recorder and concentrate on the interview, presentation or scene instead of riding recording levels.

Focus on the story, not the gain

The F2’s dual A/D conversion system records 32-bit float audio without manual gain adjustment, giving you flexibility to adjust quiet and loud passages in post-production. Its compact body and belt clip make it a practical companion for videographers, journalists, podcasters and content creators.

• 32-bit float recording: Capture mono WAV audio at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, with BWF support.
• Lavalier microphone included: The LMF-2 omnidirectional mic features a 160 cm cable and a screw-lock connector for a secure connection.
• Protected controls: The HOLD switch helps prevent accidental button operation during a take.
• Headphone monitoring: A 3.5 mm headphone/line output with dedicated volume controls lets you check your audio.
• Low-cut filter: An 80 Hz filter helps reduce low-frequency rumble.
• Flexible storage: Record to microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC cards up to 1 TB, Class 4 or higher.
• USB-C connection: Transfer files, adjust settings through F2 Editor for PC and Mac, or power the recorder over USB.
• Portable power: Runs on two AAA alkaline, lithium or NiMH rechargeable batteries. A Zoom AD-17 AC adapter can also be used, sold separately.
