Takamine’s Natural series was conceived to give the biggest and widest acoustic sound possible. The 12-string Natural ETN10C-12 dreadnought is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments for over five decades. Solid cedar tops, solid Sepele backs, a thin satin finish, and no pickguard – anything that could possibly impede the vibration of the soundboard was purposely left out. The voice is sweet and lively – this 12-string guitar responds well to a light touch and gives a satisfying performance when played aggressively. In keeping with the “natural” theme, various woods are used to trim and decorate each model. The rosette is an intricate design using ovangkol and rosewood. The purfling is basswood and fretboard inlays are maple. A pinless bridge makes string changing a breeze. Includes Takamine’s Palathetic™ pickup, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural-sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The CT4B preamp has long been the popular choice among Takamine pro artists, providing a warm natural acoustic tone at high sound pressure levels.
