Where the maple fingerboard version of the Silver Sky leans into brightness and snap, the rosewood fingerboard adds a layer of warmth and smoothness to the midrange — rounding out the attack slightly and giving the 635JM single-coils a slightly more vintage, organic character. Three purpose-voiced 635JM single-coil pickups deliver the full spectrum of classic single-coil tone across all five switch positions — from the glassy, cutting bridge tone to the warm, full neck pickup, with beautifully balanced in-between positions that are musical and hum-cancelling.
