Gibson Southern Jumbo Original Vintage Sunburst

The Gibson Southern Jumbo Original Vintage Sunburst brings a warm, powerful voice to country rhythms and acoustic blues leads. A Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides combine clear articulation with rich, balanced warmth, while the round shoulder body provides full projection for the stage, studio or an evening of songwriting.

Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing gives the soundboard a responsive feel across gentle picking and energetic strumming. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays complete its classic Southern Jumbo appearance.

A SlimTaper mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and 24.75-inch scale length offer comfortable playability. The L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup adds amplified versatility, with volume and tone controls for shaping your sound during performance. Open-back nickel tuners, a bone nut and saddle, and Tusq bridge pins round out the specification.
