The Gibson Hummingbird Original Antique Natural combines Gibson’s distinctive square shoulder design with vintage-inspired appointments and modern construction. A Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing form the foundation of this classic acoustic-electric guitar, equally at home accompanying a voice or taking centre stage.
The Rounded mahogany neck joins the body with a compound dovetail joint. Its rosewood fingerboard features mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays, 20 standard frets and a 12-inch radius, paired with a comfortable 24.75-inch scale length.
L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle electronics provide amplified performance with convenient volume and tone controls. Gold Gotoh Keystone tuners, a traditional belly-up bridge, Tusq bridge pins and a bone nut and saddle complete the hardware.
The Antique Natural finish highlights the Hummingbird’s familiar silhouette, while gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, double antiqued multi-ply binding, a .060-inch Hummingbird pickguard and a Hummingbird truss rod cover preserve its distinctive look. A Gibson hardshell case and accessory kit are included.
