Our demo offers a chance to listen closely to the J-45 Standard. Listen for the way individual notes come through, how chords blend together, and how the guitar responds to the player’s touch. Headphones are a good way to pick up the finer details.
The J-45 Standard pairs a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. A mahogany neck with a SlimTaper profile and a rosewood fretboard round out the playing experience, while Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the specification.
The model in our current listing features HiFi DNA™, an acoustic pickup system developed in collaboration between Gibson and Baggs. Designed for greater sensitivity to soundboard movement, it aims to capture more of the guitar’s unique voice and dynamic range when amplified.
